On Friday, Emily, Jenna and I received the keys to our very own townhouse! We're renting (obvi) but over the weekend Jenna and I were able to get our things in and attempt to make it our own! It's coming along pretty nicely if you ask me! There are still a few more things we need to get before it's done for good, but this will do for now. I was fortunate enough to have my mom come down for the weekend and help me get settled in and decorate the place.
The basics: it's a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom townhouse in Brookhaven (basically Buckhead but a little more of a family area). I live in the basement with a full bed and bath. There's a convenient door on the other side of my room that goes right outside, making taking Ken out for a potty break SO easy! The main floor is an open layout, with a living room, dining room, kitchen with granite and stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, a half bath, and a screened in porch. Then on the top floor there's Jenna and Emily's rooms with the laundry room.

There are two built-in bookcases, one on each side of the fire place. We managed to turn one into a bar area!
Screened in porch! We added some lights to make it more home-y. On the other side of the porch is the gas grill I built with my bare hands! Talk about testing my patience...

The dining room. We just added this piece to the house on Monday and I'm in LOVE. This table was a steal from World Market.
And lastly, I bought Kennedy a kiddie pool this weekend. She doesn't look happy here, but she'll be loving this thing when it starts getting scorching out!
My room isn't all the way done yet, so I'll wait to post pictures for that when I have the final product!
